
Cooking Instructions (Frozen Momos / Dimsum)
Cook directly from frozen. Do not thaw.
1. Steaming (Recommended)
- Heat water in a steamer and bring to boil.
- Place frozen momos/ dimsum on a greased tray or parchment paper, leaving space between each piece.
- Steam for 7 – 8 minutes or until the wrapper is translucent and the filling is hot.
2. Pan-Frying (Crispy Momos / Potsticker Style)
- Heat 1 – 2 tsp oil in a non-stick pan on medium heat.
Place frozen momos/ dimsum in the pan and cook for 2 – 3 minutes until the base is golden brown.
- Heat 1 – 2 tsp oil in a non-stick pan on medium heat.
Add ¼ cup water, cover with a lid, and steam for 6 – 8 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove the lid and let any excess water evaporate before serving.
3. Deep-Frying (Extra Crispy)
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 170 – 180°C.
- Fry frozen momos/ dimsum for 4 – 5 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
4. Air Fryer (Healthy Option)
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C.
- Lightly brush or spray frozen momos/ dimsum with oil.
- Air fry for 10 – 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crisp and heated through.
